Customs Strike in Argentina

We have been informed that the Argentinean Customs workers will go on strike for 3 consecutive days beginning tomorrow, July 10th, with a possible indefinite extension until an agreement is reached with the government regarding salary improvements.

Please note that the strike will affect all the Customs activities at ports, international borders, and airports.

European Heat Wave Subsiding

The heat wave that blasted Europe with scorching temperatures last week is finally beginning to subside. While the beginning of the week continued to bring persistent heat, today seems to mark the turning point for milder temperatures in the future. In France, specifically, temperatures at least ten degrees cooler are forecasted for tomorrow, with the heat subsiding to the east. Long Strike Canceled!

In good news, the strike in Chile that was scheduled to begin today has been postponed indefinitely as port workers were able to schedule a meeting with government authorities.

Therefore, all ports are operating as usual today.

Long Strike Scheduled in Chile

We have just become aware that a long strike, beginning Monday, July 6th, has been scheduled by Chilean port workers. Currently, we do not have any idea how long the strike will last. Fortunately, the port of Valparaiso will not adhere to this strike.
