Standard Container with Insulation:
Optional Temperature Coverage “OTC” gives members the peace of mind to know you are protected against temperature extremes while saving money by shipping in an insulated standard container.
Duty:
WSSA offers insurance for the excise tax owed to customs when declaring your container. Duty must be paid to customs once the container passes through U.S. borders. This coverage was designed to pay the duty on your behalf.
CIF - Container Cost + Insurance + Freight:
When your terms of sale are CIF your products are typically insured by the supplier from their warehouse to a U.S. port. This insurance expires at the port of entry. CIF coverage will protect your cargo where your supplier leaves off; from the U.S. port to your warehouse door.
