Hot Temperatures Strike Europe Again!

Posted 08/23/2019

Europe is expected to deal with yet another heat wave next week – the third one to hit the country this summer. The heat wave will begin with Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, and both regions will most likely see temperatures 20 degrees above their seasonal average. The heat will then settle into Central Europe with Germany, Poland, and France all on track to experience unseasonably warm temperatures.

While this heat wave will likely not bring the high temperatures previously experienced this summer, the heat will still be uncharacteristically warm for Europe this time of year.

We are urging shippers to take extra precautions during these heat waves to make sure cargo is not exposed to extreme temperatures. We suggest shipping in refrigerated or insulated containers.
