Last Chance: Send Comments on Tariffs!

This week has been a busy week in gathering industry leaders together to encourage all members of the beverage alcohol community to send comments to oppose tariffs on EU products in the current review of the WTO Airbus case. WSWA presented a webinar on Wednesday featuring U.S. Representative Stephanie Murphy (D-FL), top distributors, and the head of the Scotch Whisky Association to present their views on the devastating impact of the current tariffs and disastrous consequences of additional tariffs. Spirits United hosted their #ToastsNotTariffs event last night to again encourage all members of the industry to make their voices heard.
Politico reported today that there have been over 15,000 submissions to the USTR with a large percentage from the beverage alcohol sector. Every comment counts and the number of comments has been proven to make a difference.
