Protect Your Cargo from Rising Ocean Temperatures

Outside temperatures are rising as cities across North Europe are reporting recording breaking hot temperatures. 

Now is the time to make sure your cargo is protected from heat damage! 

The WSSA policy offers Optional Temperature Coverage (OTC), which covers losses due to extremes in temperature – overheating or freezing – for cargo shipped in insulated containers.

The safest means of avoiding a heating or freezing problem is still to ship in a temperature controlled container. However, given the global shipping situation, cost and availability of these containers can be problematic, and shipping in an insulated container is a prudent substitute for cargo protection!
