Friday night, the Port of NY/NJ issued the following statement:

"Full operations at the Port of New York and New Jersey are being restored. GCT Bayonne will be open Sunday, 1/31 from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. All terminals will open Monday for their regularly scheduled times.

Please check TIPS and individual terminal websites for additional information on container availability, receiving schedules, restrictions, and availability of extra hours, etc.

Port Authority of NY & NJ:

"There is an apparent labor walk off at all PONYNJ terminals. No truck operations at this time. All efforts to resume activity will be undertaken." Additionally, "Due to the current work stoppage in the port, no new trucks will be allowed to queue on port roadways. Do not send trucks the Port at this time."
