- Hurricane Beryl – The Port of Houston and Galveston will remain closed today as they assess the damage from Hurricane Beryl. The Port of Corpus Christi is open and scheduled for normal operations today as they did not face any significant damage from the storm. The heavy rains, strong winds and flooding from Beryl have led to widespread power outages throughout the state.
