Two major ports - New York and Long Beach - have announced that starting in September there will be no more free time on weekends. 

Yesterday over 2,000 dockworkers at the Port of Felixstowe began an eight hour work stoppage, ceasing the flow of cargo in and out of the port - the largest in the UK for import and export cargo.
