In Chile’s capital last week, students began protesting rising subway fares by raiding subway stations and evading turnstiles to avoid paying the transport fee. By the end of the week, the protests had turned violent as students began breaking gates, shattering glass, and throwing debris onto the subway rails.

The Distilled Spirits Council of the US (DISCUS) has established today as a day of action and is enlisting their members to make their voices heard to encourage the passage of the 2019 CBMTRA.
