We have been advised that the port of Hamburg is on strike today, September 4th. The strike will last until  September 5th , 7:00 am local time. The port is currently not operational as all work has stopped. There are already delays and cancellations in the handling of trucks and trains. Loading delays, departure delays and partial cancellations are to be expected with vessels as well.

ILA contract update: International Longshoremen union officials have planned a meeting next week for a “Wage Scale Committee Meeting” in NJ.

This fall fee increases will come to the ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach and Oakland.
