Hurricane Debby made landfall earlier this morning in Florida’s Big bend area with winds of 80mph and a predicted storm surge over 10 feet. Given that, many of the state’s ports are closed.

The severe weather conditions in Chile will continue through the weekend. The conditions this week have led to regular closures of the road from Argentina to Chile, continued swells in the ports are creating cut and run situations and inability for the ocean carriers to load cargo.

We have been advised by our team in Chile that the Chilean ports have been affected by abnormal swells and bad weather in the area. The severe weather conditions are in effect from July 31 – Aug 3.
