Tropical Storm Debby has moved back out to the Atlantic but is scheduled to make a second landfall Thursday on the coast of South Carolina. The storm is expected to bring extensive rainfall leading to possible flooding up the East Coast.

While Debby was downgraded to a tropical storm late morning Monday, the slow moving storm is predicted to dump 18 inches of rain on Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina and some seeing up to 30 inches of rain in the coming days.



We have been advised by Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) that transshipment ports Panama and Cartagena are experiencing significant congestion due to high volumes of cargo coming from Asia and transshipping at these port



Hurricane Debby made landfall earlier this morning in Florida’s Big bend area with winds of 80mph and a predicted storm surge over 10 feet. Given that, many of the state’s ports are closed.



The severe weather conditions in Chile will continue through the weekend. The conditions this week have led to regular closures of the road from Argentina to Chile, continued swells in the ports are creating cut and run situations and inability for the ocean carriers to load cargo.
